Hey, u talkin to me? NY
This one is the Premier Guitar giveaway (I didn't win it but bought off the person that did). Really not much difference from a production model, except for the BFR inlay in the 12th fret.....

Sorry for the less than stellar pics. In the market for a good camera that is easy to use, anyone with suggestions as some of you snap some great pics, please PM me.......

Here are some nice shots of your rare bird Mike:

and here's the link - http://www.premierguitar.com/Survey/81/survey.aspx

Didn't she come with a Ball Family Reserve COA too?

I posted my 06 LEAL believing that there weren't that many out there.

Always nice to see an LE.

(Maybe we need a post your LE's thread!)

I don't think the "rare balls" police are gonna come looking for ya ha!

That Stratus Blue sparkle always looks so killer.

Ernie, do you have a short list now of the colors/pieces that you're still after or are you mostly done at this point?

1997 Green Axis Sport
2000 Trans Green Axis (Quilt)

Im not sure of how many of each they made, but I know its not a lot. With the Green Axis I got to go to the factory in SLO with my friend, Richard, who was a dealer and pick out the top... it was pretty cool...

PS. Isn't it odd that a lot of the rare guitars that everyone is drooling over are green.... Im not implying anything... but...

That... is not a bad idea! But I believe the Sequoia Gold Silo Specs were some of the rarest LEs produced, from the fact that they didn't take off so well. But oddly, I think on this forum, we've got more LE08 Silo Specs than the Silos!:D

You've seen these before...but what the heck...

I'm told only 5 DD I "fully loaded" Luke's were made ... that count's as rare, right? (The BFR Luke could count as "rare in Oz", not a whole lot of them over here from what I understand.)

BTW, those have to be the coolest in-the-wall wine bottle holders ever!
thanks - I spent a lot of time designing that into the room

here's the set
thinking about it, the mahogany neck/koa top ASS is the rarest, from a run of 3 w/trem and 3 without
the woods reduce the gain from the pick-ups, and tighten it all up very sweetly
great to have the different choices available
a rosewood neck BFR in black would fit into the pack, if they made it

Holy crap! I didn't think that your shot/pic could get any better, but it did! Now that's the ultimate trio! I'm jealous... I wished that they made a black Axis with a BFR RW neck too - that's why I got a Luke (plus I wanted a guitar with EMG's)...
