Here are my beauties. I think there are some rare ones, like the fully loaded 2005 limited edition buttercream JP6, the carbon blue pearl JP6, which was ordered by JP himself, and my custom emerald green sparkle JP7 with gold hardware.

Hey BP,

Can you post the picture of that satin finish all rosewood (I think) Silo? The one with the wood knobs and plates? I loved that guitar and used to have a picture of it somewhere.

The story I was told is that John Fogerty was going to play it and ended up going with some other colors. I got it from Dudley at the Ernie Ball garage sale many years ago when they moved part of the business to Indio. I believe it's the only one in that color as it was a one off. Very cool!

Garage sale ? - how awesome is that. Hey maybe Strings n Things here should have one lol

I know there are a few more out there (49 to be precise) but this is my baby!

It's number 3/50... I think the lore is that #1 goes to John and #2 goes to the factory, right? So for an Aussie to grab this, is a pretty damn good thing, right? :p

It's a fully mahogany body, and Ebony Neck. Sounds freaking wicked.

Unknown EB Axis

Here's a question for everyone, I bought a used EB axis from a pawn shop that has some unusual modifications and has an unknown signature on the back of the neck. the tremolo is an original Floyd rose and not an EB licensed. In addition the tremolo is completely floating meaning, the body was professionally routed out and finished to blend in with the body. The pickups are Seymour Duncans but there is no serial number on them. And the Tuners are locking. Lastly there is no neck plate with a serial number but rather five screws with a unique washer. there is one volumn knob and the three way toggle is right under the knob. I'm wondering if this was a prototype. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Not a prototype. The filled holes from the original lock nut, the screw holes left over from the original tuners? EBMM would never have done that. This is just a heavily modified Axis. If it plays well and you were happy with the price, well done!
