I thought it would be interesting to know if a group of people with this kind of passion about something (EBMM guitars) also have other passions.

For instance, I am also obsessed with Bodybuilding. I spend half of my time here and on the gear page and half of my time on Bodybuilding forums.

Who else has others?

My other obsessions are too shameful

A part of my job is developing software. This part of my professional life can take some serious parts of my family life ... sometimes I write code till 2 or 3 AM. My wife is not really happy with that :eek::eek:

I have a few. Namely, I'm a huge geek. I'm the guy with all the gadgets and stuff. Always doing something with a computer or smartphone or e-book reader. I'm also a gamer, both video and role-playing.

So yeah, I'm a big dork who plays guitar.

Watches, motorcycles and cooking seem to take my free time. Wine is also on my fun list. As far as forums go this on gets my most attention! Watch forums are not that fun.

Bicycles and old cars.

EDIT: Just noticed I didn't mention football (no, I won't call it soccer) - the king of all sports!

I'm also pretty much in to cooking (and eating, unfortunately, hahaha)!
Recently I also got back into recording and am busy working myself into Logic Express 9.

Outside of EBMM guitars....it's Cars (especially my own), photography and cooking. I enjoy cooking tremendously and end up watching the Food Network quite often between episodes of Entourage and The Office.

Very cool thread!

Other than guitars, I enjoy building pedal effects, and I used to have fun painting and making Tele's and Strats from parts... no time any more.

I also enjoy photography, but mostly a tech geek. Apple / Mac stuff, unix, web standards etc.

For work, I am the website manager for a private school as well as the IT / tech coordinator for the elementary side of things. When I get home, most of my time is spent working on merchandising, layout, product design and story ideas for a comic that my wife and I work on.

I'm a musclecar freak and resto-mod them in my spare time. Hopefully in Spring 2010 I can get my latest project on the road - '68 Barracuda as a partner for my '74 Dart Sport. The MillerVan may not be a musclecar, but it sure is fun!

I tend to focus on one thing and only got back into guitars again 2 years ago. Before that it was cars. Shows for a while, then autocross, then track. Built a car, bought a racecar, instructed on the track for 12 years. Racecar, trailer, spare parts, engines, transmissions, wheels are all sold off now. Boy....my garage is big without all that stuff. I do still have the Shelby Cobra kit that I built 10 years ago. Drove it all of maybe 100 miles this year.

Jack, you would have approved of my driving skills this morning when I blew out a wheel cylinder on the way to the store! The brake pedal went to the floor so I immediately threw it in 1st, yanked the wheel, and jammed on the parking brake, coming to a stop after gently kissing the bumper of the car in front of me at 1/2mph. Since no-one was hurt and the vehicles were fine it was good for a few laughs and I drove the last mile in with an escort and my left foot on the parking brake and left hand on the release lever. The car is in the shop getting fixed right now. That's why this car is the winter beater...
