Well now that you are talking about him playing more specifically in DP, it is different. VERY different! He is not the only one writing the material, it is all of them together, except for some pieces he does maybe. But also he has to concider that there is a SINGER, so that definatly makes his guitar playing more layed back. HOWEVER, in my opinion he actually plays the CRAZIEST stuff WITH DP LIVE. If you guys have NOT seen the DVD in Australia Total Abandon, then you are gonna be blown away. And if you have seen it and didnt think much of it, you're straight up MESSED up in the head! He does some of the most amazing improv live w/ DP I have ever seen. Just watch Pictures of Home, and what he freakin does. And then there is his like 10 minute solo which is one of the most beautiful things I have EVER heard on a guitar, and it's LIVE!!!!

I love his live work ;) ...DP rocks with him... I'm kinda sorry that J. Lord left, but Don Airey is jsut as good... only Lord is kinda ... vintage :D ...he's been there since the begginings, and he's just always the DP keyboard player that I'll think of first... I'd love to see that Total Abandon DVD ;) ...one of my favourite Morse "riffs" is "Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming" ... those are some damn good harmonics... and the solo... whoooa... gotta get me some air, man! :D
