2 x Cruiser (neck) pups, 1 x FRED.
Surprisingly the FRED balanced very well with the Cruiser neck. I've been told the CN pups tend to be a bit weaker when paired with a humbucker.
Oh, I upped the pot values to 500k for both vol and tone.

hmm same setup with different necks, I think I like the look of the maple over the RW, both look good though! Just wait untill I get my new pickgaurd, that will be one unconventional silo.Green Pearloid, H-S-Tele with a killswitch..gonna be sweet.

Ha. I just picked an SSS Silo Spec up off of craigslist with one of those Dimarzio rails at the neck, standard in the middle, and a Seymour Duncan rail at the bridge. Same color and pick-guard to boot. Exact materials to Wolf's, but hard-tail.

Been itchin for a raw project guitar. No reason why not a silo special.
Like Lionel said awhile back, you run out of silos to try stuff in. I'm happy where mine are at and don't want to mess with them. But another one for cheap... might get out the torch and brine and relic that mutha.
