And how is yours set?

I like the trick Luke does when he hits the bridge with his palm while playing.

Rather than fly in blind I'd prefer advice from those who have already done it.

The Lukes are set up from the factory to float. That should be enough to do the warble. If yours isn't set up like that, there are instructions here: Faq | Ernie Ball Music Man
Look for "How do I set up my Luke or Luke 3 with the floating tremolo?"

Lukes come from the factory to float, I always add a spring and take it flat. Most likely going to add two springs and make mine a hardtail:)

Mine floats but not enough to get what I'm after. I asked the tech at the store and he said I might have to sacrifice a little action height to do it. I think I'll probably pass. I'm VERY happy with my setup.

I'd say fire that guy! Really. That makes no sense. If you want the bridge to float more, lossen the spring tension in the back. Then, lower the sadless to get the same action height you had before. Also check intonation again, and you are done.

If the sadles on your bridge are allready bottomed out. Then a neck shim can lower the action even further.

I guess I'm just so happy with the guitar I hate to change anything.

It should be set like that from the factory, Floating, with 1.5 steps of upward bend available on the G string.
However neither my Luke 2 or LIII were set like that when I bought them new. Either the UK dealer or the Distributor had set the bridge flat to the body for some reason. I don't get it. When the guitar isn't meant to be set like that, why would they change it? Crazy. 20-30 minutes of setting up to do before getting to enjoy playing your new guitar is a drag, and makes NGD quite a bit less enjoyable.
