It doesn't even look like it's been routed (other than what was there for the original trem). This is a case where it's not really floating, it's just not flush!

LMFAO- I had no idea who Joe Jem was either and did not even bother too google. But I could care less if Vai worked on the guitar himself, there is no way I would shell out $1,700 for that.
