This is mine:
sr5_body.jpg

This is the one on eBay:
65_1.JPG

When I first saw this I almost had a heart attack!! What do you guys think? Mine wasn't knicked on the bottom like this one - but with it being stolen and all, you never know what happened to it.

This guy has no feedback - I think I'm going to send him an innocent email just to see his response.

BTW: The grain on the upper horn appears to be different than what was on mine. What do you think?

They are different basses. The grain on the arm bevel is decidedly different. Your pickguard is pearl. His just appears to be white.

Sorry. Its not a match. So close though. The grain patterns do not match, and that pickguard is white. Not white pearl.

If someone can read that serial number, I can look it up and see what store got it from us....Just to be sure, but my crappy monitor here prevents me from being able to read it

Thanks - I've already emailed the seller about the SN.

I'll let you know.

I enlarged it in Photoshop and it appears to be E04196.

Well, according to Gav's website, that would place it sometime in 1998. That's way too old. Mine was purchased new in June 2004.

Boy, it is great to know that there are eyes all over, looking out for each other.

These are very close basses, with the intonation settings and the pickup switch in the same positions.
