I've had my EBMM Sub 1 guitar since 2010 and havent played anything else much in that time. The neck feels perfect, the pickups do everything I want and the volume and tone controls work through the full range on the pot ( unlike most other guitars I've played where its all or nothing) and I've been a happy bunny. Just recently though i've been wanting some singlecoil tones so went out to try the usual fenders and G&L's but didnt like the necks. So my next guitar will be another EBMM however its slim picking here in the UK, nobody seems to stock them and if they do there is zero choice on colours or hardware.

I'd like to try a cutlass but im worried id miss a bridge humbucker, Id like to try a Silo special and also maybe a steve morse ( although the 12" radius puts me off). I cant find any shops with either in stock?

So the Sterling guitars have caught my eye as they seem to be everywhere but I'm worried the necks will not match my sub or that the quality may be lower than I expect.

Can anyone in the UK either let me know what the sterling guitars are like quality wise or point me in the direction of a shop with stock?

Thanks

Project Music generally has one of the better stocks of EBMM and sterling. Bought my EBMM Cutlass from them. They won't have a morse in but told me on the phone they can get models in even if you only want to try's them as they have a good relationship with EBMM. There customer service is second to none (plus don't go by the price they show on the web - talk to them in person or email them and they will come to a better than advertised price)

For what it's worth, my mates shop has been selling some sterling stock but it's been Axis and Silo up to now, alongside the basses and I can tell you the quality of them has been spot on. Necks feel lovely.
Oh and I believe the sterling cutlass is available soon, so I expect you'll be able to try them. Whereabouts do you live in the uk. I'm in Nottingham.

Im near birmingham the and the store there is profesional music technology (pmt). They only have MM basses in but you could check their website, they have a few stores up and down the country.
