First Axis Tras Red Wideshot.jpg Axis Tras Red Wideshot.jpg I appreciate all replies to my original post, even the "funny ones". I measured my Axis weight again, this time with the right scale, and is 7.7 lbs, that is 7 pounds and 11 ounces or 3.50-3.55 kg. I have attached pictures of the original guitar and the replacement. The one I have right now is the one on the stand. I didn't have the chance to measure the original guitar, but I remember it was pretty light; maybe it's weight was below the average. Mine is a standard Axis but I thought that maybe they put the body of a BFR by mistake. Or maybe the difference in weight is due to the use of Bird's eye vs Tiger (curly) Maple on the neck.

Both are gorgeous, but the top on the replacement is suckier: who cares about 4oz? Enjoy!!!
That was my bad, I used the wrong scale and also mixed up the decimals and the ounces. It's more like 7oz over the average. It comes out to how it feels, and it really feels heavier than the first one. But it is a keeper and returning it means 2 weeks without a guitar. "Now that I play it every day, I can't live without her". I just have to hit the gym harder.
