They look kind of cool on a Strat where all six tuners are on one side. But a MM (2+4 rather than 4+2)? Eh, I don't think it would a big enough of a change to make it all that interesting.

On the wiki page for the basses it says the 3+1 and 4+2 was actually developed to help with dead spots so I think there is some science to the current arrangement.

When is enough enough. How in the world can it be pointed out to you that you would be adding 120,000 options to a small factory and think it is still a good idea.

It actually looks sweet but I don't think we're missing anything without the option. lol
As for Wikipedia... it's a good source for major topics like the reformation or the Visigoths... it's not a good source for current things because too many fanboys who think they know everything always get on there and write crazy stuff to make their favorite thing look better. Even for major topics, it's only good as a general information gathering tool and to find good sources... Never rely on it until you've checked first hand and other legit sources.
I haven't looked through every part of the EB website, but it might be cool for someone who is into history and particularly eb history to gather all the tidbits from BP throughout this forum and other parts of the page and write a book seeking authorization. There could be an online version on the website maybe and maybe later a nice hardback book with lots of rare photos. I know a few people in my humble little hometown that would buy it. lol

That's so weird.. I watched a guy edit a wiki page one day and he typed in "Butt cheese" like 30 times... it let him do it.
Are they at least trying to start watching edits? If so, they obviously need to find out who they are blocking. That's nonsense that it send you a violation notice when everyone else can put whatever they want.

I think for a reversed headstock to look good, it should be a 6 or 7 inline config.
