I still think that by some level, EBMM should offer more custom options... at least for people who would pay for it. Not necessarily a one-off guitar in terms of tooling but say I wanted a JP6 with a complete mahogany body with oiled finish, and a maple neck with maple fret-board? In theory it shouldn't require any more tooling change, just it's own road on the assembly line. If there was or is a way to have one made like the above, I'd pay for it, whatever the cost. I know it's always a possibility, i just need to know who I need to talk to. :)

Your specs are interesting, but honestly i don't think that will ever happen.

I could only see getting a black headstock rather than matching, and even then I would probably go with matching. The only color a black headstock would work with (other than black obviously) in my opinion is maybe red, like on the 04 LE, or possibly white. But again, I would probably go with matching anyway. I think we should give EBMM a break, I mean they just gave us a bunch of new colors and pickguards, which are really awesome btw. Glockaxis, I think you have a point there. The more we get, the more we want, and such is the nature of the human (I don't know). So yeah.

You are all heretics !
If you want to buy a Music Man, it has to be a Steve Morse Signature.
If it is a Steve Morse Signature, it has to be Blueburst.

Simple, even a Frenchman can understand that !

Danny - Matching is a must, if you look at how little it is for what you get - most other companies don't offer it!

I prefer a matched headstock on rosewood - I'd prefer it on maple but if it's not I don't think it's hard on the eye.......

In my humble opinion rosewood non-matching looks a little cheap, don't be tight (that's my job!) - break out the bucks, you get it for next to nothing over there anyway!

Us UK lot gotta pay for Blind Lemon's next dental appointment!!!!!
(PS finally get the british teeth thing, saw it on the Simpsons the other night)
