I sent email to EBMM for the availability of Bongo 6 with Piezo and they replied me they don't have a plan for it which make me really disappointed. I am a 6string player, bongo sounds really good and looks real good espcially the PDN ver. I would like to have a PDN Bongo 6 with Piezoooo...
Anyone know why its not available? Any Bongo 6 users wanted the piezo option?

I had a Bongo 6 for 2 years, now playing a Bongo 5. I would guess because the Bongo 6 is not a very popular (as far as number goes) bass, and because the piezo option is not a very common option, the demand for the 2 put together is extremely limited. They would have to design a 6 string piezo bridge, which probably wouldn't profit them very much. We're really lucky a high profile artist wanted a EBMM 6'er to begin with, since it was said the Bongo would not be available in 6 strings. That being said, who knows they might make it with the piezo one day - EBMM gives us all kind of crazy things that weren't supposed to see production - almost routinely. I had always hoped for a natural finished Bongo with premium woods, and hey, the new PDN's delivered. Hope you get your dream bass one day, dude!

I really think that a 2012 PDN Bong 6 HSp with black hardware, that would be my perfect bass!
Do you have any video with your PDN Bong 5HH?

I'm not sure how many PDN Bongo 6's are out there so you may have to look around. The piezo is a nice option but the basses that don't have them are still just as good. I have 4 Bongo's. A BFR Roasted neck 4 H, a Dargies Delight II 4 HH, a candy apple red 4 Hp and a PDN Honey Roasted 4 HHp that is almost done being built right now. I too love the piezo option but I use my non piezo Bongo's just as much as I use my piezo ones and I am happy with them all. I am yet to play my Dargie or my Roasted Neck and wish they had a piezo option. Or if piezo is a must, look at the 5 string Bongo's but I don't know how many are still out there with the piezo in a 5 string version as not too many were ordered. On mine that I ordered, it was the only 4 HHp PDN ordered so that tells you the piezo is really a rare option on these basses.

I don't have any videos of my PDN 5HH, only pictures - but I am working on getting a decent recording device and webcam.

If you want it bad enough, I'm sure you could get a non-EBMM 6 string piezo bridge. OR -- I wonder if you could modify an existing EBMM 6 string bridge and get your own piezo saddles? I think it would be an interesting project if you're handy with hardware, or could find a good guitar tech. Modifying the bridge would mar the finish, but since you like the black hardware anyway, this could be a plausible option. If you're up for the project, I'd love to see it!

.... Saddles is not the hard part. You can buy those from non-EBMM sources.
Then you need the electronincs, not mention some extra wood carving, and
some fussy metal working on the base plate.

John Myung is no place to hang your hopes. Maybe the Jazz Knights would
order a dozen and the Pentagon would pay for the tooling. Just petition your
Senators [forget your House Reps, for obvious reasons .... ] Aftroll, this is a
top priority, National Security, not to mention international prestige, issue !
