Surface mounted trem.....5 springs....tighten em down....that's how I roll.

Oh Jack man, the hardtails just have a sound all together different than the trem models man.
You know I remember GC in Natick blowing out the Sub's i could have gotten one wicked cheap and I passed, oh the regrets.

#1) watch craigslist in east nowhere
#2) drive 2 1/2 hours
#3) come home with the sub1 from a guy replacing it with an SG (thinking he was upgrading)
So different sounds from a hard tail and a trem....... Describe, please. I still consider myself a newbie to all this. I have noticed that Zack Wilde, Randy Rhodes and Slash all make due without a trem. I gotta dive bomb Panama....

I sold my Sub to my cousin a few weeks back. I went with him when he took it into the local (decent) guitar shop to get it set up. The guy in the shop said that there was pretty much nothing he could do to it to make it better as its already a perfect guitar (like everything from the MM factory)...so of course I went on to agree with him and have a lengthy discussion about my MMs.
The respect for the Sub is everywhere. The shame is another store in the town has had a double HB sub on there wall for about 5 years yet they are still trying to sell it at a seriously inflated price which although worth it, is never going to get into the hands of someone who could be the next knucklehead!
Oh and i miss the Sub already

Jack man trust me I am always on the look out for EBMM's, even though I don't have a dime to spend on them man.
It's a kind of hard thing to explain man. I'll have to hookup with you and you can check out my guitars. I'm a suck player, but I've got some really nice guitars.
