When I went to order a Sterling a few weeks ago I had... 27 colour options?
which is just ridiculous.

I like orange, so I got orange firemist but now there doesn't seem to be anything in that area of colours (translucent gold?). Makes sense to cut the colours that don't sell but I think it's weird to have three different shades of whites and blacks, tobacco burst and vintage burst, but no orange. Maybe that could be said about colours like pink and purple too, but who would buy something so ridiculous ;)

Desert Gold just rocks an a Bongo!

I'd love to see something close to that colour announced at the upcoming winter NAMM. Bongos deserve a more spectacular finish than my bank clerk's family car ... *ducks and runs for cover* :D

No need for Bongo. I'm glad to have my DG SR4HH RW MHS and it's rare. The only thing I could imagine to be even better was a full rosewood neck paired with Desert Gold.

Or green. Green basses don't sell, or so I'm told.... :p :D

Seriously, EBMM colors are great. I have yet to see one that isn't even better in person than it is in photos.

Haven't seen TG or OF yet and I'm sure they're amazing. I just have this thing for DG, though.
