Hello,

I'm Marc from Barcelona, Catalunya (Spain),

I play spanish guitar with a preamp Fishman Prefix-Pro. I am looking for the best pedal that respects the origin signal as much as possible with no alterations and give me a linear evolution of the volume.

I tryed the Mono Volume Pedal 6165 of 250k for preamp and passive and I couldn't feel the linear increase of the pedal very good until I was almost at the final down position.

Does anybody tryyied the 25k JR monovolume pedal with an steel acustic or spanish guitar with a Fishman Prefix-Pro preamp?

Thanks a lot,

Marc

Thank you Tommy!!

But I'm Sorry I don't know what you mean. You say tha EB vp 25k is ok but with a this 20' Hi z cable into a makie vlz could be better, don't you?

The problem is that I don't have a dealer of makie in spain. If you have tryied the 25k and it works, for me it's ok!

I just wanted to know if it 's a good option.

thank's

Marc

Tommy knows his stuff.

There's a sticky thread on volume pedals, but in a nutshell you want a 25k for an active signal, 250k for a passive one. The signal from your preamp - active - should work with a 25k pedal. The VP Jr is a nice pedal.
