This disease has taken my father in law in '01 and my brother in law in '03 and our beloved Mayor Michael Guido of Dearborn this past December who was a dear friend of my wife, and now it threatens the life of my wife.

She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer stage 4 in April of '05, they said she had 6 months to live. Went under the knife the same month. Fought it without Chemo for 10 months with Organic foods and vitamins, and other supplements. Finally had to use Chemo and it worked for her. She was Cancer free for 7 months.

The demon has reared it's ugly head once again.:(

All those who would like to pray yours prayers are coveted, greatly needed and appreciated. Her name is Ann....she's been at my side for 37 years.

Thanks in advance...:) OMB

My girlfriend had ovarian cancer when she was 15... one of the youngest-ever reported cases, and she has been cancer-free for well over ten years. Your wife is still very young and sounds very healthy in every other regard, which is half the battle from what my Rachel tells me. We'll be rooting for her (and you!).

Sorry to hear that.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I will put her in my prayers. God works miracles. I know because I am a cancer survivor who fought three battles over a six year period. That last was 1983. A day doesn't go by that my wife and I don't thank him.

May you find peace throughout all of this.

Smiley Face

OMB,

I meant the smiley face to placed in the body of my message as an encouragement to you. I didn't mean for it to post in the title. It doesn't look quite right in the title and may look like I am making light of your wife's situation. Please don't take it that way.

I know this is something that people don't like to think or talk about, but it's reality. Many have gone through it or are going through it.

Knowing this makes one not feel so alone while they are in the heat of the battle.

Thanks for all the kind words. May God Bless all who post replys here.

Thanks again......... OMB
