I'm curious to know if the BRF Petrucci 6 string will fit in the standard MM case because if I purchase a BFR I'd rather transport it this way. I don't like or trust gig bags and prefer the standard MM case over the LE Vintage type case for transport. I only ask because the BFR's are a bit wider, but I haven't played one yet. Thanks in advance.

Roxy, yes, it will fit in a standard John Petrucci case (made by SKB). The part number for the case is P05979 and can be ordered from your local MM dealer.

Thanks Dan, you guys make it way too easy to spend money. Our government has to develop a stimulus package to get the economy going, and EBMM fixed it with the BFR's. Big Poppa for President (with Dudley on the ticket)!

I'm very excited about the different BFR case that the BFRs come in. I'm bored with my standard MM case at the moment...

The SKB EBMM > fancy pants version from a gigging standpoint. Not only is the fit better, but the cases are way lighter and less succeptable to damage..

 You know! I'm ready for a 'new look' for a change. It sits in my living room for lack of space in my apartment so I look at it ALOT.
