Will EBMM upgrade older Silhouette Special ?

I have a 97 Silhouette Special. If I ship my Silo Spec to the Ernie Ball facility, can they upgrade my guitar with a compensated nut & Schaller locking tuners ?

ANY help on this would be appreciated....thank you

To the best of my knowledge, no to the compensated nut. A guitar will be refinished/refurbished/worked to bring it back to it's original specifications but no more.

Fitting the locking tuners is something that any good guitar tech or luthier can do. EBMM should be able to supply you with the tuners if you can't get the right ones elsewhere. If the existing holes are too small, they will need resizing. If the existing holes are too big, you may need conversion bushings (though I think that's the case). Existing mounting-screw holes may need to be plugged before new ones can be drilled.

You should contact Customer Service yourself and see what they can do for you.

I think they will convert it if you buy a new neck, but the old one will stay with them. In which case, if you have bonded with your Silo Spec the last thing you would really want to do is swap out the neck.
