Help! will JP knobs fit on Majest?

I'd like to put some chrome knobs on my majesty - idk why the hardware doesn't match with with the bridge. Strange design choice.

I contacted Music Man, and they said the never made chrome knobs for the majesty? I thought the knobs on both the majesty and JP were the same but upon closer inspection I noticed the ones on the majesty are taller.

So my question is: will JP knobs fit in the majesty? I don't mind if if they look a bit shorter. I just want them in chrome.

Hi Dan,
That's not something that we've tried in the factory. You're correct, the knobs on the Majesty are taller to fit through the top of the guitar. You could try the JP knobs, but no guarantee they will function properly. If you have a pre-2019 Majesty, the piezo potentiometer has a smaller diameter shaft and the JP knobs may not work on that shaft.
 
Thanks for the quick response! I have a majesty in Kinetic Blue - not sure if it's pre 2019. If the knobs have an adjustable screw - then, in theory, it should work, right?
