Will there be a Bongo6 with piezo in the future?

Apologies, I'm sure this has been asked here before but for the life of me I could not find any information or so much of a comment about a piezo option on the new bongo6's other then a the fact that the stealth bongo's won't.
So, has there been any talk about a piezo bridge option for the bongo6 ?

Also, has there been any fretless bongo6's released yet or will those come later this year?

Straight up answer: No Piezo option on the Bongo 6, yet. As Andrew said, never say never. Will it become an option next year or in a decade? Who knows what the stars will give us. But for the present moment in time, no piezo on the Bongo 6.

As for the fretless option on the B6, it is available. Whether or not there is one out there on the market is a question of whether or not one has been ordered and is for sale. Your best bet, if you truly are interested, is to contact your local MM dealer and order one for yourself. That way, your name is on it and as soon as it arrives, it's yours. Heck, yours might be the first B6 fretless (certainly the first I will have heard about), and that makes it extra special!

Perhaps but it isn't really 'new thing' though, just something for the b6 bomber to catch up to it's brethren which already have it.

And yeah, I've already seen how well suggestions, or sub-worshipping opinions about MM products are handled around here.. That much I did discover from my search. :p

Just convince John Myung that the B6 needs piezo and I bet it will get done????????

Well, considering that they'd have to design a new circuitboard for the piezos for the 6 string, it actually is a new thing. The current design only allows for 5 strings.

And, when you consider the small number of probable orders of piezos on an already small number of orders of six string Bongos (compared to 4 and 5 string offerings from MM), you have to ask what you expect MM to spend on R&D for a design that will not see much in the way of sales.

Don't get me wrong--I'd want piezos on any six string Bongo that I ordered, but I also understand it's not simply a matter of slapping an extra saddle with a crystal element into a bridge.

Yeah that is more then understanding.
For me personally, I'm simply dying for a powerful fretless 6'er with piezo's that has a string spacing of at the very least 17mm at the bridge. A combo like this is veeeeeery rare for a production bass. Carvin's are tightly spaced and my understanding are very unfortunately not all that powerfull/growly/thick/whatever or characteristic sounding. Yamaha's TRBP6ii's are quite expensive and I dont even know if they have a fretless option and I have still yet to even play any of the upper end models.. peavey has no piezo, same story with backbreaking tree trunk warwick thumb BO/BN's.
So it would seem, that there is a golden opportunity here.. but I admit, that is a narrow market.

Well I guess here is hopping that the bongo6's become a huge success so that EBMM feels safe that it will be worthwhile in the development of a piezo option. Hopefully if it comes to fate, I will be the first person in line for that in fretless form. :)

The only reason I, personally, would like piezo on the B6 is so I can get a single H and have 4-band EQ.
