I did a search for this, but didn't come up with much. Just out of curiosity, he seems to be the only signature artist without a BFR.

Good qns!

But I think the Y2D already possesses quality to that of a bfr, (less tone blocks under the pups, which are not ncessary as the pups of the Y2D are mounted on the pickguard), so, no bfr for a Y2D, my 2 cents..;)

I hope so! BFR means the Ball Family can do whatever their hearts and imagination tells them. I'm pretty sure I watched Sterling, Dudley and Steve testing a Y2D with the tone block at last years bash?

In think the Y2D was something like the first step into the BFR thing (maple quilt/flame top) without having the name "BFR". I remember to read somewhere here that they offered Steve a version with a mahogany tone block which for some reasons I don´t know he didn´t choose.

He looks like a silver-haired wizard in this shot! Of course, he IS a wizard! :D

As far as the Morse Bfr, thanks for the info BP, and everyone else!
Before this, I was kind of thinking Morse knows what he wants, and the BFR recipe ain't it! It's cool that the BFR recipe can change though, depending on who's in the kitchen!
Now I'm curious!
