Thanx man it was, my wife gave the go ahead and I'm soo glad that I didn't miss it.

Meet a bunch of really cool people from here and went to an area of California that I had never been too.

I had a great time hanging out at the Firestone Grill with BP, Dargin, Lucious, Brian, Aziah, CLB, Stacey, and of course my fellow forumites. Just that experience would have been worth the trip!

But that night we got to hang at the SLO country club and there I met Dudley, Beth, Jongitarz, and many of the knuckleheads. What a great night. We witnessed lots of great playing by the likes of Lord Bongo, Shamus, Musicman Nut, Oldtoe, Tommyindelaware, kbaim, NorM, Pete Dubaldo, and Wonder Dog!
(and more.. can't remember them all at the moment) and of course, the amazing John Ferraro on drums!

And the follwing day, after all that, we had the factory tour and roundtables with BP, Dudley, and the signature artists. The event was capped that night with a private concert by the signature artists (Biff Baby's All-Stars) and a very tasty dinner with some great beer choices!

I really thought the Firestone Grille was great. Let's not forget Sterling wouldn't even let us pay for that one.

Luke and Sterling posing for pics with all of us, schmoozing, laughing.

You could take away the Artist concert and even then it still woulda been one of the coolest weekends for us diehards.

One caveat:
I'd actually like the 12 minute forum awards ramble of Steve Dude back. :p

When hell freezez....no, not this year I have a headache......have i paid for the first one yet?........a cold day in ...........i'll be damned if I ........

We will do something in a few years. It basically shut production down for several days getting ready for it and cleaning up afterwards. It did cost a boatload, too.

The biggest disapointment is the lame ass video crew that charged me 35,000 for basically unusable footage. The ability to create content for this site and our international partners at the OH coupled with content for domestic dealers for instore video. Lastly the chance that we would catch lightnening in the bottle and maybe have a DVD to sell of the concert to donate to CLB.

What probably will happen is that we will from time to time bring some new models and a few prototypes and have some regional forum parties. None are on the horizon currently
maybe next year.

Sterling,

I may speak for others here, but I know that throughout the entire weekend there was not one moment of Open House activity that disappointed me. It was the best "show" I've been to, and to have been a part of it makes me feel even better. Memories and stories from that event will last a lifetime, thank you thank you thank you.

Maybe most of the talent (Luke, Morse, pet, Albert...not us) can perform one night at Namm to make that DVD happen. Good Luck.

$35,000, and they couldn't get it right??

I think it's safe to call them douche bags publicly.

I'm even more thankful that I didn't drink on that Friday...much. I can still remember everything.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? (No Norm, I can come up with something on my own, thanks ...)

Really, it was an incredible weekend for me and I rave about it to anyone that I ever hear mention Ernie Ball or Music Man. I'm sure all of the guys at my local stores are sick of hearing my stories ...

I've already been to one regional party ... PUSMFEST ... and can say I'm definitely looking forward to more in the future.

It is a bummer that the video crew f***ed things up like that. Criminal really. Tell me who's ass to kick and I'm all over it.

Anyway, thanks again Sterling and all the crew!

BP, was there nothing that could be saved? Even from the tours or roundtable? It's unfortunate. :( I was really looking forward to having some memories on DVD. It really was a blast...

Maybe the knuckleheads can help pay for the next one...the comradery, chance to see a few prototypes and schmooz with you, Dudley and the rest of the staff was enough! Not that there's any comparison, but any time I see those adds for the R&R Fantasy Camp, I have to laugh. They want around $9K for that week - and we got to meet our heros for free!

You lucky people!

Been having a look at the photos and I really can't imagine anything better! It must have been such an experience for bass & guitar fans. I can only begin to imagine...

Looks like that was a memory that will stay with many people for a long, long time.

Green with envy...(envy green!)

Still got my pass!

Somebody went through a bunch of bags and stole strings, so I never got my free set. (Not complaining.)

Still wear my T-shirts and hat
Haven't put on the fake tattoo yet, but I'm waiting for late spring so I can cruise high schools blaring "Kashmir" from the car stereo. (kidding...really)

As for the stickers, my daughter put them on her 3rd grade music folder for the recorder lessons they provide - Now that's RocknRoll
