Just curious, my SR5 on order is white, maple, matching headstock, white pearloid pickguard. Would be nice if I could get white pickup covers ala Paul Turner's single pickup bass. My dealer sez black only, for now. Any chance you going to offer these in the future? I'd kick myself if it is an option in a month or two.

I'm not above begging! I'll be your best friend :D

Just a guess, but I'd guess not. Since they are a different shape, with the beveled edges, I think having that many different types of pickups would not be cost efficient.

I'm not a bass player, so that means I can ask a dumb question here. Can you purchase after market pickups or pickup covers in white?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I think the shape of the pickups on the dual pickup basses are slightly different than the single pickup SR5. They may also seal them up with silicone or something.

WARNING: This thread was resurrected from the depths of this forum for the purpose of stirring some interest in having WHITE pickup covers as a standard option on ALL EBMM basses. Please try and stay on topic, and keep the usual jokes to a minimum.

So does anyone else want this as an option? Why is this so hard to do? Is it because people might want bright white and cream white? Would this be a builders nightmare? Please someone chime in?
