I am not the chick in the guitar strap ads. I don't think that broad even knows how to play a guitar. I think these strap companies just hire some bimbo models to advertise their products. Look at Namm and how they use women who are hardly dress to get the guys attention to buy their products. I wonder how many of those women are really men in drag!

I am totally confused on what Garth Brooks has to do with women posing as musician's in ads. Are you saying you are one of those guys in drag at Namm posing as a woman promoting a product? If so, power to you and may I ask some of your beauty secrets - ha ha!
Rock on and enjoy the great products that Ernie Ball makes in the USA!

I never stated that Ernie Ball has men in drag. Ernie Ball is a class act! I stated I wonder if some of those models at booths are men in drag. Read the print, not between the lines. After all it is California and anything goes. That's why I love it there so much. You can be anything you want and it is cool and no one cares.

Hi Nancy!

Welcome to the forums! We definitely need more women around here. Definitely.

I didn't mean to say that I thought you said that EB has men in drag. (did that make sense?) hahaha! It's just funny, you go over to other booths that have those women with the huge er um... mammaries... and the reason why those companies use them is to attract people to their booth. Then, it seems that its not the product that attracts them to the booth, its the women. I just was saying we've never done that, because we haven't had to. Our "buzz" on the product and the personalities within the company is enough to draw a respectable crowd without having T&A all over the place.

Hooray for more women on the forum!

Hooray for men in drag! No, wait. Not "hooray" unless they all look like that one boy in Nicaragua....no, wait! Not even then!

I think it's telling that amongst musicians, the Dean girls are WAY more popular than the Dean instruments.

And, really, for good reasons.

Yea it is funny how men are creatures of habit. I love going to the Ernie Ball booth and seeing what Ernie will be doing. He is so funny and his son Scott is also a nice guy.
Last year I begged Scott to have his dad produce the Music Man Axis Rosewood guitar and I was one of the first ones to get one after Namm. That guitar is so well made. Nothing like a guitar made in America!
I look forward to seeing Ernie and everyone at the booth this Thursday. Plus watching the guys hanging at the booths with the women with the big mountains on their chests! Ha Ha!

The Dean girls are quite popular, however, I don't know a single person playing a Dean bass except Jeff Berlin and well, he could play a broomstick and make it sound good.

Anyone who has ever been to the ComicCon in San Diego, Ca (and you know the resident nerd at Ernie Ball, the Monkey, has been many times) you can see this phenomenom occur at a frightening level. Pre-Pubescent, comic book loving nerds, completely over stimulated, plus porn stars, models and internet web models equals instant profits. Seriously, it gets to dangerous levels. I'm suprised the girls make it out alive. I mean these kids can type 150wpm left handed, that's just scary. I've played the competetors products, and while the Monkey doesn't do to bad with the ladies, I have yet to pull Pam Anderson simply for using a type of cable. Not for lack of trying, but the restraining orders says I can't send any more pictures of me and my sweet new guitar strap, or bits of my beard and hair.

We *do* need more women around here;
We *do* believe in "respectable" products and people

I'm hoping for the best !!!

(seriously, as a poor country boy looking in from far away, I *really* am trying to learn how to help kids and people get back to "music", and I'm *really* struggling to understand how the "world of business" can support "education":)

As always,
tnx 4 your patience,
& your "senses" of "humor" :)

I thought Jack had one of those Dean upright broomstick thingies for a few hours last year.... maybe I'm mistaken.
