Wiring problem?

Ok, here's the scenario... I have an EBMM Petrucci model 6 string with Piezo. When I am plugged into only one (either) output, everything works fine. When I plug cables into BOTH outputs, I get a NASTY hum out of the outputs (either of them - doesn't matter which). As soon as I unplug one of the cables, it's fine.

Ground problem?

What's my best bet for repair? Is a local guitar shop going to know anything about these guitars?

HAve you tried to lift the ground on one of your amps? If not you're getting a ground loop through your gear. You will need to lift the ground on one of them.

Meaning remove the ground frm the equation. Most amps have ground lift (it says "ground lift" on or near it)switches....or your could use a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter on one of your pieces...
