FedEx is supposed to drop off the burnt apple SR5 from Moondog today! :D :D The only problem is that I'm at work. I'm hoping FedEx is running a little late & won't drop by until after I get home. If not, I might have to make a run to the FedEx facility like I did a few weeks ago when I rescued my natural SR4 from UPS.

I've been tracking the progress, and it's still saying "on FedEx vehicle for delivery." Is it time to go home yet? What time is it? Only 1:39? Aaaarrrggh!

Hey, I'm starting to feel a little achy. And my throat is hurting. Man, it's hot! I think I have a fever! Guess I have to go home! :D

Funny thing happened to me on Monday.......checked the status on the FedEx site for an equipment cart I bought. Site said it had been delivered so I checked around.......no package.
I get on the horn w/ the place I bought it from & in the meantime the FedEx truck arrived.
Apparently the driver scanned it just before he got to my house & it showed up that quick online......weird.
Tomorrow I'll be under UPS house arrest.

Ah that sucks Bill, you're not lookin so good . .
I'd go home now and rest if I were you.

Your bass should be delivered tomorrow. I've
left a note for UPS to come inside & put the bass
in the living room . . and have a beer. Hopefuly
I'll see the bass when I get home and have some
beer left.

I left work at 3 & actually made it home within a half hour! No FedEx yet!!! WHEW!

I didn't have to pick up my daughter from her great grandparents' house, so I have the house to myself for a little while. Woo-hoo! I'll be waiting by the front door!

It's here!!!!! Man, is this thing pretty! Ken, those pictures you have don't do this bass justice. This burnt apple is really nice. I plugged it in & wailed on it for a few minutes, and it plays really nice. I think I'm in love!

Thanks again, Ken! I hope your as happy with the 4-string as I am with the 5-string.

I'll take some pictures hopefully tonight when my wife is watching Alias and my 1-year-old daughter isn't screaming.

Congrats guys! Wish I was sitting here under the pretense of 'house arrest'; no EBMM bass purchase until the end of the month.

Tiffles, what do you have on the way (I missed that posting, wherever it is)?

You know I sort of dread my up coming house arrest, I'm going to be gone a lot this month. Next week I'll be in Dudes neck of the woods, then several days here and there I'll be out of the house and... and... WHAT HELL AM I THINKING, I'VE GOT BONGO COMING!!!

bring on the house arrest! :D

I'm glad this bass went to fellow forumite Bill.
I will definetly miss it; it plays like butter and
sounds wonderful. Like I said, the burnt apple
is difficult to photograph, it looks so much better
in person and/or under lights.

Enjoy the fiver Bill . . . hopefully you'll use that
big string on top of the E string more than I did.
;)

That's one of those finishes that I thought would be amazingly popular.

(Shows you what I know.)

I had an SR4 in that finish....very pretty.
