Yeah, she's a beaut! I've never seen one with a maple fretboard before. (Must ... resist ... buying another one ... )

OC...once more your eye for detail is on it! I asked our designer about this...We think this guitar has been tampered with. We would never have made a neck without the fret markers(thanks JonZ) Let the buyer beware

This is why I post these finds here...let the pros seperate the flax from the weeds, or something like that...we're not worthy!

From the auction ....
This auction is for an EB Music Man Steve Morse, which, I understand, was a one off piece made for the NAMM 2002 show.
The collector I acquired this guitar from stated that it had been bought off stand at the end of the 2002 NAMM show. He also sent me his Morse autographed pic acquired at the same time (signed NAMM 2002) which I will include with the guitar for the winner.

Whilst I have utmost trust in the previous owner's credentials as I have traded with him on high end stuff many times, I can't verify any of this, but my own research shows this to be a one-off piece.

He seems to be covering his arse in the first 4 lines! SPOOKY

The switching system also sounds fishy-

"... this model has a 5 way blade (instead of 3), 2 way toggle (instead of 3) and a 2 way push button (instead of 2 way toggle) ..."

Quite different than the standard Morse.

I got nah-ting....email this cat, and tell him you want the serial # to get more info from EB, and that there are a number of people on the board that may prospectively pull the trigger on it (to build up some points!)

another questionable point to mention is the back picture of the tremolo cavity. look at that aweful routing job. idk looks like a pretty decent fake but it doesnt look its goign to be taking off. 12 bids, 5 days and only around 400$? i think people are questioning this auction and may just be bidding on it out of curiosity.

the pickup pole pieces are shiney. as far as i can tell the real morse guitars had black pole pieces and wouldnt be reflecting light like those in the picture.

I say its a fake. a great try, but definetly a fake. at least they got a music man floyd on there. anways...

God bless,

Tony
