So.. it’s a guitar option but not a bass option and it’s something that BP has wanted to do for while and it would be game changing for EBMM.

(Has someone said this?) My guess is Music Man made Guitar Pick-ups. It seems like a logical step since they just created a new pick up on the bass side for the 25th. It would give EBMM the ability to go one step closer to having a complete “in house” guitar.

… hey but I’m a fat stringing…what do I know….

What a great guess !!!

Active + Passive P90, Hum, Single tones all available w/ switching.

IN house pickups wouldn't make sense. JP just released new pickups with DiMarzio, and it'll be on all guitars. My guess is either:

1)On-board EQ or preamp/buffer

2)New body body option: either a chambered body or a new material.

Ok guys, I bet you a HoneyBurst non-tremolo Axis that it is a tone block! I think that BP is pretty happy with how it turned out in the BFR and the 25th.

Acoustic?

Ok, probably not. I think BP has said on a number of ocassions that the market is well enough catered for as it is.

I think the sustainable/renewable material idea is a great one if they've finally cracked it. With the tone block proving itself to be such a great addition to the guitars, it could make the process much more viable.

Then again, I know the best part of nothing about most things.

I actually like where you're going with this Jimmy. From all reports the tone block has worked out amazing. When I mentioned the renewable/sustainable idea, I wasn't even thinking about the tone block. But after reading your post and Rokstar's post. We might have it. Announcing just the tone block in the regular production models wouldn't be "MIND BLOWING". But by incorporating the tone block with the sustainable material, and using the sustainable/renewable material as the body(and maybe even the neck), the folks may have found a way to increase sustain and resonance to truly create a TONE MONSTER:D

I'm guessing EBMM guitar PUs as well... really, it's the only thing missing from the guitars (apart from scalloped fretboards and stainless steel frets ;-) ).

Two weeks goes by too slowly in Korea! The rain! The heat! The humidity! I agree with Lumber, has anyone hit the ball in the ball park? Or at least in its vicinity?

Humm - game changer for EBMM? Short scale? Maybe a semi-hollow? While not revolutionary it would be a game changer to me for EBMM to offer them.

I'll be watching this space:D
