Picked up a set of the Wonder Wipes. Applied all 3 to my Silo Special. It plays better than ever. The neck is so smooth and slick from the fretboard conditioner, Strings are Slinkyer (<-- Is that a word?) than ever. And the polish wipes take all the finger prints off the finish. Nice sized wipes and do exactly as what they are advertised to do and don't break the bank either.

I'll give the smell breakdown.

Fretboard conditioner smells like some sort of tropical drink.
String cleaner smells like a baby wipe.
Polish unscented.

The box says not to inhale. Oops:rolleyes:

I'm guessing the fretboard conditioner is only for rosewood? Do any of the wipes effectively clean maple boards? Or clean boards, period? Or just to condition rosewood?

I checked MF for these the other night, and couldn't find them there yet.

According to Beth, the fretboard wipes work on any board. With maple, use a dry cloth to wipe off excess though. Music123 has them, Musician's Friend does not yet.

I put the fretboard wipes on my Silo Special. Worked really nice. Wiped the rest off with a old polish cloth.

These sound like a great idea.

OK, so here is my dumb question. Do you want to have all the strings off the fretboard before applying the fretboard cleaner?

Oh yeah, I saw an add for these at Sam Ash. I think they will carry them.

Good question JSX....

I just bought some of these this afternoon. I haven't tried it yet, but I mean to.
I got the body polish and the fretboard cleaner. Yeah, which cleaner does one use on the back of the neck for a standard standard EBMM guitar and a SUB1?

I used fretboard conditioner on the whole neck fretboard and neck. worked good. Wiped excess off with the old polish cloth. As for the sub id use just the polish ones on the back and for the fretboard use the conditioner.

Thanks for the kind words, glad you guys like the new EB Wonder Wipes!!!

Use the polish wipes for any finished painted necks or unlaquered painted necks (SUB). The polish formula that we developed is non-toxic, contains no alcohol, and isn't harmful.

Use the Fretboard Conditioner for any unfinished necks (EBMM) and fretboards. The conditioner works great on maple, but because Maple doesn't have pores, you need to take another dry cloth to the neck and fretboard a few minutes after applying the wipe.
