Question Wonder Wipes - String Cleaning wipes

Hey all, I was wondering, has anyone tried the Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes string cleaning wipes on bass strings and do they make a difference or are they merley designed for skinny guitar strings to remove the rust from the plain unwound ones? I would like to know if anyone actually tried them on bass strings and can tell how good they work. Many Thanks

I use them. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "make a difference", but they do clean the strings.

What I meant was, since bass strings are so thick, do these wipes actually manage to clean through them i.e. through the thick windings and succesfully remove sweath and stuff? Thanks

I use them on my basses - and I'm not changing my bass strings nearly as often as before, so all good!

Oh good! That is what i wanted to understand, many appreciating thanks, buying a couple of tubs of them as we speak. (or type??)
