I broke my collarbone last week. Right side. No guitar for six weeks at least. Hurts like crazy

:(

I know you are thinking "so how is this any different than normal in terms of ability to play the guitar?"

Sorry to hear that. My son broke his early in the summer - which has made summer vacation, not to mention summer camp, very boring.

Hope you heal quickly.

I was skateboarding at the local skatepark with my daughter, and tried to drop in to a bowl. Board went out from under me and I crashed backward. Thank god for helmets.

Ouch!!!!

You should know that whenever you "drop it down" into a bowl, it's just like a dive bomb on a wammy bar; you gotta hold on tight (but lose at the same time) and let her up easy, otherwise it may fly out from under you - bam!!

Don't forget to take the wheels off that board when you store it, and put it in its case.

That story sounds better than being smacked down by a husband.........:D

Stay off skateboards and stick to guitars......................

I feel your pain Henry, literally.
About six weeks ago I was out for a morning bicycle ride and ended up going over the handle bars. No breaks, but bruised ribs, mild concussion and a Stage 2 shoulder separation. Got out of the immobilizer sling last week and I start PT next week.

Good luck and heel well

Thank god for helmets.

You ain't kidding, mine was slightly cracked and dented - but better that than my head.
