I have a feeling that as long as they don't engrave the Ernie Ball or Music Man names or logo's on it, they are ok to sell them.

They fit OLP's as well.

Plenty of parts manufacturers market replacement neck plates. Not a big deal. Making a deal over this stuff would essentially tell me that eventually F!@#$ will be the only marketer of neckplates...lol.

Wouldn't it be more tactful, rather than making an example of someone, to just PM Henry instead of letting whole world see it?

Yah sure it's a very machinable material, cheap and can be finished chrome or what not. Plus it's light weight. 6061 Aluminum is strong too, not easily bent.

6061 T6 is indeed very strong. I've got more than one mountain bike frame made of the stuff. In the right thicknesses it's a very suitable material.

No issue unless it is patent protected, which it is not. Just a neckplate.
