Wood grain or crack?

I bought my Silhouette Special new about 5 years ago and just noticed what looks like a crack on the neck. Always kept guitar in it's case inside the house and it's never been traumatized. Finish feels smooth so I'm hoping it's just wood grain.

That's wood grain. Those are sometimes called "mineral streaks". You can see a bunch on the back of this guitar's neck:

I´d say it looks like wood grain on your picture
