Well done PugNinja ...

90 days, it is not so long ... I had to wait 5 months for my Steve Morse.
Just practice ... to be ready for D-day

Congratulations

Nice man you'll have to really take a good picture of Rolls Burgundy, I have'nt seen a decent one yet that really shows off that color.

Congrats, you'll love it!!!

BP I am truly looking forward to receiving this Albert Lee.
Rolls Burgundy jumps out at me and I'm sure it will look amazing in person.

One question for ya, what color will the MM90 covers be considering I ordered the white pickguard?

GW
I will definitely post some pics as soon as it arrives, I agree that this color seems to be hard to capture on film but maybe a few outdoor sunlit shots will work. Hopefully they will come out nice enough so that they may be added to FogMan's legendary collection

Thanks for the kind words folks, now I have to go and break out that Albert Lee DVD and learn from a true master.

Pug, cool thanx. I think you get white/cream pup covers. Mine had black, but I had them switch them and it looks much better with the white. Call CS tomorrow and ask they'll let you know.

GW,

I will check with CS tomorrow, I kind of like how the black pickups look with the Rolls Burgundy and white pickguard. That pic of the Bongo looks pretty cool on the color chart.

Pug you can always order the other covers independently and have both to compare. I did that with my Rosewood and preferred the black over the cream. cost about $3 per cover and its a real easy switch. You can get them direct from customer service or through your dealer.

MBGReene,

I am going to call the dealer today and have him order whichever color doesn't come with the pickguard I ordered, I figure it can't hurt

In talking with the dealer, he told me a pretty cool Albert Lee story. It seems Albert did a clinic a few years back in a store he used to work at. Besides being a cool guy and hanging out at the store all day, Albert ended up doing Letterman either the next night or sometime around there. He called the store and told them of his gig and asked to borrow an Albert Lee guitar since he did not have one with him. The store gladly obliged and Mr. Lee was cool enough to invite some of the staff to check out the show and come back stage where he autographed the guitar along with tons of other people including some of Paul Schaffer's band.

It makes me even more excited that the artist of the guitar is able to get a stock one from a local store and instantly use it with no worries whatsoever. Instead of the garbage that some of these other manufactures pawn off on the general public as "artist models", EBMM crafts instruments specifically for the artist that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Dammitt, now I am more psyched to get my albert

oh well, only like 89 days left hehehehe

Pug, that's what BP's been saying all along. JP was doing a clinic in FLA something happened and he just grabbed his model of guitar off of the wall and did the performance.

Your right EBMM's rock and why shouldn't the models that the artistist have be the samething that you buy!!

Dude, you are gonne love this guitar. I got mine having never played an AL and it's one of my favorites.

That combination you have ordered sounds sweet to me - get online to the dealer and order the piezo on it - you'll have two guitars in one.
Waiting for my AL seemed like ages, but as BP said once "..... enjoy the ride"

I've got the same DVD - doesn't BP look young !!!
I've spent ages nailing ONE of Alberts licks (Country boy)and it lasts all of seconds !!!!

Hey Dargin,

Is Aussie Mark on the bass forum? I think I saw a bunch of his posts regarding Rolls Burg. and tortoise.

Spuds,

I decided not to get the piezo because I really have no use for it at the time, plus it just gives me an excuse to get another EBMM with one installed:rolleyes:
