I got the call. My m****rf****n' Dargie Delight LUKE has arrived! I couldn't pick it up today because they don't even have a price for it. I will be going down to the shop tomorrow to play it. That kinda displeases me that I can't take my guitar home with me, but what's a few more days?

It's about time. I'll have pictures galore posted when the time comes.

Keep y'all posted. :D

Thats odd that there was no price agreed upon before the order was placed.

Strange indeed.

i know there is a price in the computer for how much a regular LUKE costs at the store, but there is not one for the DD model. I guess the guys at the head office don't know how much upcharge is involved, etc. It's kinda strange.

I'll just go in tomorrow and play it, and probably get it switched to 10's. I am not a huge fan of 9's for whatever reason. They're a bit too... bendy for me. It'll all get straightened out with a little bit more patience. Eleven months... what's a little longer from HO?

It's worth doing right, as they say.

Great stuff - needless to say we want pics.

There might be confusion over the price because of EB's price increase last year.

The increase excluded the 06 LE's and also excluded were (I may be wrong) the DD's.

Oh me oh my.

It seems that the guy who would be giving the cost of the guitar to the store I bought it in is unreachable. Despite numerous voice messages and phone calls, no contact is possible. I am now sitting at home, without my guitar. It's sitting at the store, I have the money to pay for it... but they don't have a price for me.

I spent an hour and a half playing it at the store yesterday, which I shouldn't have because it bummed me out even more that I couldn't take it home. I definitely need to put on 10's, but other than that, the guitar is amazing. My compliments to the guitar gods of EBMM.

My displeasure is thanks to Mr. Unreachable for a week at the Canadian distrobutor of the EBMM guitars.

Hmm.

I don't think it's the stores fault. They are also sitting on a DD Sterling bass that they want to get out on the floor and sell; but can't because they have no pricing either. I'm stuck without my guitar, and a potential customer won't even know about this DD sterling right now.

It's the distributor for Canada. He's very hard to get a hold of apparently. I'm not mad though. I just want stuff to get figured out is all. Soon enough.

Congrats on the purchase my friend... but equally sorry and confused about the problem. Surely there is a price to the distributor and he knows his mark up then a price to the retailer who knows his mark up... and that's the price to you! Still it's yours JJ and soon it will be in your hands. Nice one. :D
