A bit late onto this one. Allegedly my pre-EB was made was made with gold hardware for Tom Hamilton. I have no evidence to substantiate this fact.

My "other" bass has gold hardware. I think it looks pretty good, but then again, it hasn't started wearing off yet. :D

My favorite P-bass has gold hardware, it's a 78 natural/ maple/tort with Barts. I bought it on eBay for next to nothing, the main selling point was "includes all orgional hardware and anvil case". It would have sold for twice as much if the owner had put all the stuff back on it.


Sorry to mention "another brand" here, but for the record the new ButterCream SR4 sent the p-bass into retirement. :D
