Just heard that my LE Green Hornet Bongo is shipping out of SLO today, on its way to Daddy O's and then to me.

Thanks to Doug, Jon and Scott!

Hope that sucker gets here before the 20th....gotta go to DC for two weeks and knowing I have a new bass at home and that I can't get to it would not be good for my sleeping habits!

That's too bad.

I hope you're able to grab my fretless. After this wait, I want the Master to handle it.

Congrats, again, Jack, on your green Bongoness.

Jason, your fretless's body is hanging on the wall in my shop...No way will anybody else get yours. It was supposed to happen the same way for Jacks bass. Maybe it slipped by when I was on vacation, but I will find out. This really pisses me off.

Errrrrrrrr.......I don't know, Jon-san. This looks like a question for the wise and powerful Doug.

Could be bad info? I wouldn't mind waiting longer if it means that the groundskeeper gets to have a go at it.

Not like I don't have a Bongo or two to play in the interim, you know?

I don't know what's going on here Jack. The work order should have had a note saying give to Jon for setup. If you can, ask Doug. I'm at home and can't check it out.

Be careful! He might just mistake that green one for a lawn and take a mower after it! :D

Well, DUH--how do you think he levels the frets, Dude?

Hopefully, it's still in SLO.

That has to be the sorriest looking weedeater that I've ever seen.

Well, unless that's the largest single piece of wood you've ever seen, I think it's a safe bet that the weed wacker is only about 3" long. How else do expect the tight tolerances we have grown to expect from EB? :D

I imagine it being sent via carrier turtle. Why? Just to give Bov something to laugh about. I bet the turtle stops by Jon's house too along the way. Imagine the hit it would be for a turtle walking from CA. to TX with a green bongo on it's back. If ya can.
