Standard E tuning?
I have my JP6 loaded with elixir 10-52 set in standard Eb and i have to tune all the time. Nut has been filed and oiled by professional guitar repair man.

There is no way i can do things like that with my guitar!

Heavier string gauge. And i did not file it myself.

I'm under the impression that the standard nut will handle 52 just fine without modification.

If you're unhappy with how your guitar is playing (or staying in tune), you should call or email Customer Service.

Done that.
I have played 15 years with tune-o-matic style guitars(gibson/schecter).
Maybe i am tuning it wrong?
