The dealer shipped it to someone else. It was an honest mistake...Wild West is a great outfit. While they try to get their instrument back I had them reverse the charges on my VISA. They are supposed to call when it arrives but I doubt that will happen.
When it comes to EBMM guitars....I'm just cursed. It was a very, very nice guitar and I had all the hope in the world.
Let me say again: Wild West is a great outfit, good pricing, customer service and they actually answer the phone! The BFR was incredible and would have been a prime addition to my already impressive collection of EBMM instruments.
It would be cool if the guitars at WW had the serial with the listing so there would not be any confusion.
(example) asking for the "black pet quilt" when there's three. Better than saying "I want the third one down in the far right row on the first page" or something to that effect.
In the quilt between the pickups is a picture of a guy waving, with one leg bent. Just by the waving hand is the face that may resemble the face of Jesus.
Wait a mo, I'm not going down that road again!!
As sort of a follow up, I stopped in Indoor Storm today and saw the pictured BFR in person. That photo is a fairly good representation of that particular guitar. The top is quite dark and isn't going to show up much differently. The top looks good, but it's simply a darker one for those who prefer a more subtle look to the flamed maple. It's not as contrasting with the stains used - does that make sense? Nice geeetar though.
