I knew it wouldn't take long to get someone upset over Ibanez. All I know is I had a bass years ago from them and it was the worst sounding thing I have ever played: it buzzed all the time like it was missing a ground wire, hardware was REALLY cheap, and it just sounded like a box. It didn't matter what strings I put on it, it still sounded bad.

I have an Ibanez myself. Mine is about 13 years old and I could never find another guitar that could do the things it could do. The neck was the biggest thing I loved on it. On the pic thread is a my URl to it. I love that guitar and it was the great folks at EBMM that made the Petrucci, now the best guitar I have ever owned. All because of the neck.....plus they look great too!

PITSLAYER666 Perhaps you should try changing your strings every two to three weeks. If you are a serious player then you'd probably play three or more hours a day. Of course, the strings will lose their tone ya git! Nothing lasts forever. I've tried these Ernie Balls, and they aren;t that bad. In fact they are amoung the best.

ernie ball strings=wrost strings ever.


the first thread is buggin if you think they are expensive. by me you can get a two pack for 25 bucks, which is pretty friggen cheap, but you get what you pay for. ernie ball sent me a free set, they last 10 minutes before i put old strings back on it. worst strings ever.

ernie balls came on my ray, and they were on there for a day.

elixir polyweb strings are by the best. if you say otherwise you are insane.
