Would a Sterling version of the Albert Lee sell?

I was wondering if a Sterling version of the Albert Lee would sell well or not? I know the body style is not "traditional" but it would give EBMM/Sterling a triple SC guitar to compete against the Mexican "S" with a better neck profile and build quality.......

Great question! as I read the amazing review on the sterling axis I pondered that.
I feel the price of the Albert is a amazing value. I'd rather save up for the BP blue one. That will be worth the wait. And hand made in SLO Town USA!

Hard question. I tend to say "no",as I assume the EBMM AL isn´t a big seller. So there are probably not many people whose desire is to own one (except us knuckleheads).
But maybe I´m wrong, just my opinion/estimation

While the AL is sometimes a slower seller than other guitars, it does have a cult-like following. I think I have half a dozen in stock right now, they are awesome guitars!

I have no idea how an AL from Sterling by MM would work in the line, but NAMM is right around the corner....

In my opinion, I think a Sterling AL would give F*nder a run for their money! I would much rather have my new students purchase a Sterling any day of the week

My local GC just got a Sterling Axis in.....way cool.

it would be nice to have a quality product around that price range. for players to get into rather than the lower quality single coiler like already stated. but maybe the shape would put some people off. not me though i love it.

Yes, it would if marketed as a much better guitar than the Mexi Standard. You do have to overcome the headstock label affecting the percieved superiority of the original brand.

I love the AL, but I'm not sure how well it would sell to the target market. I'd wager something more traditional, like one based on the Silhouette Special, would be more fitting to introduce as an S/S/S SBMM.

Well I think the regular AL is a slow seller, so I doubt a cheaper version would sell.

i love the AL shape. I think it's criminal that it isn't a bigger seller. The shape is comfortable sitting or standing. Looks cool and has its own identity.
