Ha. Very true Pete! I was just wondering if it would be possible to buy the hardware parts I was thinking of converting to black separately instead of using the parts on my MM. That way, if it does not turn out looking like i want, it is not the ORIGINAL part that is ruined...

Just curious as to what other "parts" for a JP are also available for order...

anyone?

So far I've ordered a toggle switch, trem arm and knobs. I think they will also sell you the schaller tuners. Most everything else is proprietary and has to be swapped out.

The Luke tremelo arm apparently has a wide angle on it?

This would make it easier to float the bridge
???

Same vintage MM bridge, just with less tension on the springs so it doesn't rest flush on the body. Just take a spring off or release some of the tension on the spring claw. The arm itself doesn't have anything to do with the floating.

I thought for some reason the bar itself had a wider angle on it, so that it sat about the same height from the body floated as a standard one does flush. Ah well, at least I know now.
