My Great Aunt won the New Mexico State Fair Quilting Blue Ribbon 20 years consecutively. She did one a year and gave 4 of them to my Dad (one for him and one for each of his children). I consider this to be the most beautiful thing I own. My dad and my Aunt have identified some of the materials as cloths they out grew.

no no no, do you have no taste man???? Black Pearloid at least, or one of those cooler ones like Moonstone!!! Plain black guard is so boring. But i guess you are from Canada.

I don't if it's a national issue or not. I just know that as a designer I drive myself crazy with choices, especially colours. Black relieves me of any possible decisions.

I was thinking it would look like this.
The pics are actually not all black, they just appear to be so.
However, I was alternatively thinking Moonstone which would be more like this.
My issue with the moonstone though is that the blue hues might be a tad strong. I'd prefer it more gray.
Personally I'm hit and miss with the black perloid. I'd actually go with plain white, but feel it's a little too Clapton.

I make a joke of it in my sig I know.
It's just that My EKO acoustic guitar is black, my Les Paul is black, my LEAL is Black
my BCB is ""BCB" - and the main reason I got that was because I always loved the Gibson Cherry finish going into black.
My Archtop is Black. So I guessed I must like black!!!
Anyway just so I don't incur the wrath of BP 4 hijacking "THAT TOP SUCKS BAD!!"

Black is way cool. I just bought Arin's black Luke and love it (yeah yeah yeah, pics, I know ...).
