Sorry to revive an older thread, but I thought that I would mention that the guitar will be here tomorrow. I ordered it before finding this thread so was pleased to see some discussion about the guitar already.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I am sure it is a much darker blue though, a flash does wonders when taking pictures of flame tops. You can hardly tell that my purple one is flamed at all unless you hold it up to the light.

The guitar is now in my possession and it is definitely nice, but the picture overstates its craziness. I knew that it wasn't going to be a bright sky blue like that, in actuality it is a darker, almost blue-green color and the flame for the most part looks like a normal, tight, densely packed straight across grain and not some freak of nature. The direction is a lot more consistent that it seems, obviouslly everything in that picture is there, but it's not as noticable in person. It is fine with me, the guitar is beautiful and the condition could pass for brand new. Being a condition freak that means a lot to me. I'll post my version of pictures when I get time.

Congrats again, Jon. Glad it stayed in the family.
