Wow! What a weekend.

I just got home and am a little tired.

I had such a great time this weekend. I was a little uncertain on Friday when I got to Dallas. I was thinking why the hell have I come this far, to spend a weekend with a group of people I've never met.

Well that feeling soon went. As some of you know this was my first trip to the States. I can honestly say I couldn't have had a better introduction to the country. Without exception everyone I met was friendly and warm and put me right at ease. I am so glad I made the trip, I had a fantastic time.

So, thankyou everyone for making this such a memorable trip. Also thanks to Jack, Erica and BP for making the whole thing possible.

The other revelation to me was that there are some very talented musicians on this forum. You guys just inspired me to work harder at improving my playing.

I was still drunk until about 2pm! I'd raided my bag before I left the UK, so with a little pharmaceutical help my flight went fine. Lou said to say hi to you and she had a really good chat with you on Saturday and was interested in some of the projects you are involved in.

Louise had a fantastic time too, and was really glad she had an opportunity to meet you all.
