I caught the Hellecasters once as they opened for Danny Gatton (whewie, talk about a guitarfest). Absolutely amazing.

I've always thought it was pretty funny how they named their first record "The Return of the Hellecasters".

Not to take away from the HC hope I'm not stra yin to far from the subject here with this but...Speaking of some insane pickin This guy tears the roof off The Ark in Ann Arbor Michigan on a fairly regular basis. I've never seen any body do so much with so little, check out his drumer! and he does that weird crab claw pickin stuff like he invented it! Truly unbelievable playing.
