OT but I believe the high strung method is called country stringing or something similar. Isn't this the same as what Gilmour does on Comfortably Numb? Basically a poor mans 12 string.

Sorry didn't see that post, Nashville tuning. I was way off, and it was Hey You not Comfortably Numb. Would be fun to try this tuning for giggles.
