Ever seen baggage handling at an airport? Well, they treat shipped goods even worse, so I really think you should be surprised if a case like that wasn't damaged. And a box, well that protects the finish of the case, but the way they throw stuff around means the bass itself can pretty much destroy the case from the inside.
Sad but true, now show us what you got!

I say the same thing about the skb style cases. Poor A.J. can attest to how many UPS has destroyed for me.

Must be the BD AL case heh?, Pete D knows about that, thats why if I sell one that has the LE\Limited case it gets wrapped and double boxed, a seller needs to know where they are shipping and what they are shipping, so water under the bridge as long as the axe is OK things are good:)

didnt miss them.. just havent been much sun here lately.. :)

im planning on something special for spuds 5000th al thread and i need midnight sun for it to come through ;)

the new baby is strung with flats so i really cant compare soundwise... hehe.. not that i could do a 1 to 1 comparison either.. my bro "borrowed" the fretted one ;)
weight wise this one is much much lighter than the other 2.. also its single slab body (drewl drewl :))

the evh is also extremely light in weight. i also understand why the axis has more clearance between the strings and the fretboard edge.. hehe.. its like goin from the sr4 to the sr5.. gotta adjust to the new margins :)

the al is a beauty!! i love blue finishes, i love sparkle finishes, i love single coil sound and this quackababy gives me all three things at once! :)
