Let me just say that besides being a super Dad, Bryan is top shelf human being-period! A nicer more genuine guy I have yet to meet on the internet. Bryan is Eric a John Frusciante fan, as he has on a very similar hat to the one he wears in the Under the Bridge video lol.

its the greatest feeling in the world.
I used to be Jealous when i would show up to play with groups who's other members were obviously using their parents guitars, or drums. Now i hope that one day i will have children to pass this stuff on to. Cause its too cool to let it die...

Great gifts and really cool guitars! How are they liking them?

Already thinking about my 3 year old sons first real guitar. Always thought I could pass one of mine on to him. Unfortunately he's a genuine lefty (Already), so we'll just see. Hè also has to be into guitars wen he's old enough of course.

Wow, thanks for the kind words, Mike!
Eric likes the Beatles, Hendrix, and something he identifies as "pop punk" which I have not heard him play yet, but his friends play that in their band. He plays alot of acoustic sounding stuff, and never uses any distortion. He sounds really good; nice and clean.

Ah, Erin, the dude with the best avatar on the site (sorry Slav, yours is still weird). I will proudly show Noah pics of a fellow muppet-lover rockin' his Big Al Dargie 2 on stage. Keep up the great work. You have a fantastic collection, too!

Hello jzeijen...Funny you mention your little lefty, as my son Eric is a lefty, too...but wait you say...he's playing righty! Yes, I started him with a flipped over double-cut guitar, but he felt more comfortable playing right handed. He writes left-handed, but plays guitar and baseball right-handed. I started Eric young, and Noah younger, but instead of using my usual Super Slinky 9's, I strung his up with Regular Slinky 10's. I didn't want him to snap a string and take an eye out.

They love their new Balls, and they each got an ebmm t-shirt, too. Eric got "That Top Sucks" and Noah got a shiny silver Music Man logo.

I've tried that also, always handing him his 1/4 kids guitar right handed. He just flips it over to play it left handed. He can't strum with his right hand!

Sounds like you have a stubborn lefty.

When he's older, and you sit face to face to teach him things, you'll have the mirror image thing going on...that will be cool!
